Thanks to my dad we were able to go on our first cruise last week! He was so awesome to do this for a graduation gift for Chad and I. We also celebrated out 6 year anniversary on the cruise. It is hard to know where to even start and what info to include. To simplify our trip we will post some pro's and con's of the cruise.
PRO'S
1)I must say that the best part about it all was being able to spend time together and being there with some of our best friends Brad and Jo!
2)We have come to the conclusion that after the cruise we felt more relaxed than we have ever felt traveling anywhere...major plus! There is plenty to do if desired, but there was also lots of down time, especially for us being in the slim 20% of people not concerned with getting drunk.
3) FOOD! The food was overall pretty good but we did feel like there was plenty of room for improvement in this area. Our favorite meal was the breakfast buffet each morning not the "dinner expereince" like most may say. The desserts were generally just ok though there were a few excellent things and the 24 hr soft serve ice cream went over well.
4)The entertainment on the boat was great. Some of the funny things we liked were The hairy chest competition, The newlywed game, people watching, and Karaoke. The singing waiter's during dinner were good too:)
5)Our destination Cabo was beautiful. We got to spend time at "Lover's Beach" and we saw the famous "End of the Earth" rock formations which were georgeous! It was fun to be in Mexico even for a day though we were mad that we didn't get a Mexico stamp in our passports!
6)The spa! It was mother's day while we were on the ship and so on Mother's Day the guys treated Jo and I to a Pamper Package which included a facial, scalp massage and foot massage! It was a little slice of heaven for sure.
CON'S
1)The only thing we really complained about was that all four of us got sick! We all needed motion sickness medicine everyday to feel normal! After we got home Chad and I really felt sick...this lasted for about 2 days. We felt like we were spinning and swaying all over and had headaches. That was the worst part about it all.
Again, overall it was amazing and we are so glad we had the oppoutunity to go! Brad and Jo you guys were so much fun, thank you for coming with us!

Cruising is definetley relaxing and a lot of fun!! Yeah I dated Nick for most of our senior year then he went on a mission to Australia.
What a fun get away. JC and I need a vacation and this sounds like a perfect idea. It sounds like you had a great time. I agree. After you get off the ship you still feel like you are swaying for days. Call me sometime to hang out Heather
